    The Homestead Home was the original home on the property when Real Life Children´s Ranch first opened its doors in 1957. In its original form, this home was quite small (less than 1000 square feet). Today, the Homestead Home is over 4000 square feet and houses up to six female foster children, the Professional Parents and their children, as well as the Administrative Offices.

    Just days before Jim Fraser, the founder of Real Life Children´s Ranch, passed away, he walked around the Ranch property and said, "I would like to have a church built here one day." He set aside five acres for the development of a chapel. Through the grace and power of God, Jim's vision came to fruition as the construction on the chapel was completed in February 2002.

    The Lighthouse Home was built in 2001 and was dedicated in honor of Scott Fraser, the first resident Executive Director of Real Life Children´s Ranch. This home houses the Executive Director and his family. By living on campus, the Executive Director has the benefit of interacting closely with the staff and children, as well as being readily available when needed.

  • heritage home

    The Heritage Home was built in 2006 and houses up to six female foster children, as well as the Professional Parents and their children. This is a very large home with 3300 square feet under roof. A unique feature about the Heritage Home is that is contains separate staff quarters for the Relief Parents who live in the home when the regular Professional Parents have time off.

  • baxter - legacy home

    The Baxter-Legacy Home was built in 1993 with the assistance of a grant from Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Baxter and the Youth for Christ organization. This is a 5000 square foot home designed as a duplex with each home having approximately 2500 square feet. Both the Baxter and Legacy homes house six male foster children each, as well as the Professional Parents and their children.

    ThThe Destiny Home is provided for the Relief Parents and their children. Although the Relief Parents move from home to home in order to give the other Professional Parents time off, they need a place to call home. For this reason, the Destiny Home was made available in 1989.  

  • TABER RV CENTER

    The Taber RV Center was built in 1992 for dual purposes. First, this building offers a place for our RV Volunteers to cook, eat, shower and relax. Secondly, it is a place for the Real Life Children´s Ranch family to gather for special occasions and board meetings. The Taber RV Center was dedicated in honor and memory of the late Clarence Taber, founding Executive Board Member and dear friend of Real Life Children´s Ranch.

  • RABURN PAVILION

    The Raburn Pavilion was built in 2003. This large pavilion is centrally located by the pond and surrounded by large, beautiful oak trees. The Real Life Children´s Ranch family, friends and volunteers enjoy countless hours gathering together for BBQ´s and special occasions under the Raburn Pavilion. This pavilion was dedicated in honor of the late, Reverend Robert Raburn, founding Executive Board Member and beloved friend of Real Life Children´s Ranch.

  • POND

    The pond provides a great deal of fun for the children at Real Life Children´s Ranch. It contains designated swimming and fishing areas in order for the children and staff to safely enjoy both of these activities.

  • PASTURES

    Several acres of pasture land provide room for the animals, which are part of our Animal Program, to graze. The pastures also contain horseback riding trails and help maintain the rural atmosphere that is so much a part of Real Life Children´s Ranch.

  • LIVESTOCK BARN

    The Livestock Barn was built in 1995 and is 2500 square feet. This barn houses the animals that are part of the Animal Program at Real Life Children´s Ranch. In addition to several stalls, the Livestock Barn also contains both tack and feed rooms.
